To those of us who are truly in 'the no' of experience with VPNs, I for one, am not falling for the Norton WIFI privacy app, and here is why. It advertised, 'bank-grade encryption': Over 400 million people's identities were stolen/hacked through such encryption, i.e., 'Apache Struts'. • Delivered as a PDF file. We guarantee that. Alpine car audio. We also have to this model. • The manual has 10 pages • File size: 3.12 MB • Available language versions: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian • Different language versions may vary sligthly in file size and page count. Manual details • Immediate download after payment. How can the answer be improved? These are Americans who rely on financial transactions, and are forced into having to reveal their private information through the three credit reporting agencies. Just look at the Equifax 'breach'. Apache Struts have publicly stated it warned Equifax about doing the appropriately required updates and patches. Apache Struts has publicly stated the breach occurred due to the Equifax failure to perform the updates and patches promptly. How tragic it is to see Norton advertising, 'bank-grade encryption'. Tell that to the millions of people whose identities are on hacker lists, fiscally being in harms way to profit hackers incessantly. And just imagine this truth: The IRS was going to hire Equifax for fraud protection of IRS consumer accounts ---- fortunately that fell through! There is nothing worse than false security. Shame on Norton for monopolizing their/its name! Developed by Symantec Incorporation, Norton WiFi Privacy offers its users anonymity and online privacy by creating a private network from a public Internet connection, including unsecured public WiFi networks. It does not work like other well-known VPNs, such as or, but Norton WiFi Privacy encrypts your data. It encrypts sensitive data, like passwords and credit card numbers, before converting them into an unreadable, untraceable form until it gets to its final destination. The Norton WiFi Privacy application comes loaded with many excellent security features that allow you to access your favorite online content from anywhere in the world, even in restricted areas. With Norton WiFi Privacy, your internet traffic and online activities are routed through a secure and encrypted tunnel to the VPN service's server before getting to the wide and wild Internet. This effectively prevents anyone on your local network from monitoring your connection and protects your internet data and activities from Cybercriminals. Norton WiFi Privacy offers 25 server locations with at least two different servers in each location. These geographically diverse collections of server locations are located in countries across the globe, including Africa, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and the South Pacific. This gives its users the benefit of switching between multiple servers from different locations, as they are sure to find at least one server on the same continent regardless of their location. By default, Norton WiFi Privacy will choose the VPN server that is closest to your current location. This is because of the major impact your proximity to the server location can have on the efficiency of any VPN service provider, as a closer server usually ensures a better experience. However, for users who would like to make it appear as if their Web traffic is coming from somewhere else, the program allows you to select from a list manually, and the app will connect instantly. Norton WiFi Privacy works perfectly with almost all the popular protocols available including PPTP, L2TP, SSTP, OpenVPN, and IPsec. One of the distinctive features of Norton WiFi Privacy application is its ability to start the VPN automatically whenever your phone connects to an unsecured Wi-Fi network. However, if you are not a fan of automation, and you hate the idea of your system apps doing things without your consent, the program gives you the chance to toggle this option off and go for the option that allows you to receive warnings about the network's lack of security instead. Norton WiFi Privacy is compatible with all Windows operating systems, Android, Mac OS, and Linux, so it is compatible with all your mobile devices and PCs.
